Not only does the current frontrunner for the Republican presidential nomination have a history of controversial remarks about sexual assault, but as it turns out, his ex-wife Ivana Trump once used “rape” to describe an incident between them in 1989. She later said she felt “violated” by the experience.

Michael Cohen, special counsel at The Trump Organization, defended his boss, saying, “You’re talking about the frontrunner for the GOP, presidential candidate, as well as a private individual who never raped anybody. And, of course, understand that by the very definition, you can’t rape your spouse.”

“It is true,” Cohen added. “You cannot rape your spouse. And there’s very clear case law.”

Ivana Trump’s assertion of “rape” came in a deposition—part of the early ’90s divorce case between the Trumps, and revealed in the 1993 book Lost Tycoon: The Many Lives of Donald J. Trump.

2. Trump's wives are mere "property" to him

Do you think Trump really gives a damn what his wives want, need, or believe? They are his arm candy, his toys, his items to be used as he sees fit.

Think of him in terms of an incredibly wealthy Emir in the Middle East. An Emir can have as many wives as he wants. They are his property, and he can use them in any way he see fit.

Do you think there's any difference between an Emir and Trump? All he has to deal with is what they'll say after they've been used and discarded. But he gives them enough money and very expensive things to keep them quiet.

If Ivana is speaking out, it's only because she thinks that she can get more than he pays her and gives her. Nonetheless, Trump can always up the ante. And he knows that the credibility of an ex wife "exposing all" is questionable to the media.

The bottom line is that Trump doesn't give a rat's ass what Ivana says, or any of the other women he used and dumped in the past has to say. He knows that their credibility will always be questioned. And, given his narcissism, he knows that he will be treated in the media as the "victim of scorned women."

If you're rolling a tank down a suburban street, do you worry too much if you hit the curb? It's not a big deal. Trump certainly feels the same way about your puny human laws. Rules are there for controlling the little people. Trump is a winner... a huge winner.
