And the courts would likely agree - if Cruz had a couple of years to wait for a decision.

That said, it couldn't have happened to a more despicable candidate (well, except maybe Trump).

and had to choose between trump and cruz, I'd take trump all day, every day. I loathe cruz and am enjoying watching him get taken down by his own party. Because he burned every single bridge he ever crossed, nobody is coming to his defense - it's been a lot of fun to watch.

with the government shutdown costing an estimated $27 billion. Of course as president he would have been in a position to kill millions of Americans which is why he's such a tea party fave.

Unless Trump rips into him on this--and I'd love to see him do it--the conservative media--and that's the only one that will matter in the primaries--will likely give him a pass. It is the New York Times after all.

The Evangelical crowd will forgive anything to get one of their own in the White House--even the possibility that their candidate was bought and paid for by Goldman Sachs and Citibank.

Ignore this mess, what is the fuss?
I'm going nowhere; I'm here to stay

Repubs do not care about this sort of thing. He has made little headway against Trump except in Iowa. Cruz will get his ass handed to him on Super Tuesday without this scandal contributing to his losses. By the time he is up for re-election to the Senate, voters in the GE will have forgotten or shrugged off this incident.

But I doubt it:

http://nomoremister.blogspot.com/2016/01/you-cant-seriously-believe-this-loan.html

He's going to win Iowa and then South Carolina. On March 1 (Super Tuesday) he's going to win a massive number of delegates in the Texas primary. I think he's going to be the GOP nominee and that the Republican establishment will grudgingly move in behind him.

Seriously hope I am wrong.

He is so bat shit crazy and such a mean-spirited piece of shit that I think the independents will come out in droves to vote against him, regardless of who we select as our candidate (Bernie). And independents might very well decide this race.

And, of course, the whole issue of his birth is just gravy. I personally believe that he is probably eligible to be president, but I love all the drama the R's are stirring up over this.
