I did not realize this until last week, but my new employer made this a holiday two years ago with a change in leadership. Friday, the CEO sent out an email with a bunch of inspirational MLK quotes and a sincere reminder of the importance of this day. When I see him, I want to thank him. And I thank God for MLK and those who still fight against today's version of racism and hatred.
