(NEWS CENTER) -- Governor Paul LePage minces no words when he discusses his feelings about heroin dealers in Maine.
LePage today repeated his call to allow the death penalty for drug dealers. Maine, of course, doesnt have the death penalty for any crime, and the Governor says he isnt actually proposing it at least not yet. The Governor talked about the death penalty on a radio program Tuesday, and even joked about bringing back the guillotine.
On Wednesday, after a meeting in Lewiston, he was talking about the death penalty again. LePage said Maines heroin problem is killing people, and that Maine needs tougher penalties, up to and including the death penalty. He said he would not actually propose allowing the death penalty in Maine this year, but said he might bring it up next year, when there will be a new legislature. The Governor did say he wants to increase current penalties for allow drug dealers to be charged with murder, if it can be proven that drugs they sold caused the death of a user.
However, the Governors most provocative comment was about citizens taking matters into their own hands.
And Ill tell you, LePage said, everybody in Maine, we have constitutional carry, load up and get rid of the drug dealers. Cause folks, theyre killing our kids.

hosted by a comedy genius Eddie Driscoll (who inspired a young Stephen King).
Now all we have is this clown LePage.
