Susan Sarandon: Donald Trump 'reminds me of a drunk uncle at a wedding'

Sarandon, a public supporter of Democratic candidate Bernie Sanders who introduced the Vermont senator at a pre-caucus rally in Iowa Wednesday, called Trump a “drunk uncle” in a recent interview on the political web show The Young Turks.
“He reminds me of a drunk uncle at a wedding, who gets up and starts talking and just loves the crowd and just goes on and on and on and says whatever he can to get a reaction,” Sarandon said. “He’s like a figure from a Kurt Vonnegut novel; I can’t even address him seriously.”
Sarandon went on to call out Trump for his views on minorities. “What concerns me is that he has made hatred and racism normal — he’s normalized it,” she said.
