Will the 2016 Primaries Be Electronically Rigged?

Is there anything we techno nerds can do about this problem? I know Obama had a crack team.

Will the 2016 Primaries Be Electronically Rigged?

Primary election rigging in the coming weeks and months is all but assured if American voters and candidates don't take steps to prevent it now. Evidence that US voting systems are wide open to fraud and manipulation should be taken seriously in light of the unprecedented high-stakes elections we're facing.

Not in recent history have American voters been presented with such radically polarized candidates, forcing a crucial choice for the direction of our future, and possibly upending long-established centers of power.
Local fixers, insider operatives, rogue hackers and even foreign countries could all rig US elections electronically.

It's no secret that US primaries have been tightly controlled by the two ruling parties, usually to the benefit of their favored candidates. If this internal manipulation (some might call it rigging) is not publicly condoned, neither is it loudly condemned.

This year, however, the primary season is shaping up to be a battle royal between the political establishment and outsider insurgencies who are challenging the party elites and defying their usual filters, money and manipulations. And it seems all bets are off.

It may be the only question.

'TRADE SECRET' vote tabulation, all over the USA, in primaries and GE.

Do you know who is counting your vote? Are you permitted to watch it being counted?

The key part is bolded. Long lines and long waits translates to low voter turnout.

Low voter turnout, voter suppression is good for the more conservative candidate (of either party).

'Perilously' Outdated Voting Machines Threaten 2016 Election, Report Finds
Brennan Center for Justice finds 'significant percentages' of problematic machines are in swing states

Electronic voting machines in 43 states are at least a decade old, "perilously close to the end of most systems' expected lifespan," and could pose a risk to the 2016 election, a new study from the the Brennan Center for Justice at New York University School of Law finds.

After a 10 month probe that included interviews with over 100 election officials and experts in every state, the investigators concluded that the threat also extends to "significant percentages of machines" in swing states including Florida, North Carolina, Ohio, and Virginia.

Entitled America's Voting Machines at Risk, the study warns: "Old voting equipment increases the risk of failures and crashes—which can lead to long lines and lost votes on Election Day—and problems only get worse the longer we wait."

As for the rest, what a defeatist attitude. Come on, why not take this topic to the GD-P forum and get some good outrage going there? It absolutely will become a conspiracy directly against Bernie if he becomes our nominee.

Did you notice the mention of the media conspiracy NOT to discuss election theft? Six giant media corporations run by 6 male billionaires control 90% of the news media in this country. And they're using it to keep 150 million voters ignorant and deluded enough to be warring on each other instead of taking them down.

She fits right in with them. She won't change anything. And the title if the post I was replying to asked if the election would be stolen. I post my reply and u go off on me? Fuck that. Every other reply seems to agree with me that it is entirely possiblenthry will try to steal it. Why go off on me? I've read quite a bit on election theft and absolutely believe out elections are always at risk.

You must be upset because I think it will be Hillary's side doing it if it's done during the primaries? Its not Bernie snuggling up with the Bush's.

But don't assume that the past is future. Of course we can put a stop to it, not me or you, but WE. And because WE can, not some group of hackers we hope will charitably arrive to save us, we have a duty to.

The first step is to personally refuse to accept the continuation of corruption. Don't say it's hopeless -- that's surrender. Tell yourself "no, I won't accept this" right there at home. It really is a step.

I never said hopeless and I'm not sure what you think I should be saying at home. I have been part of protest in DC (Boxer rebellion) back when we thought somebody cared and was fighting it with us. I have protested in New York. I have been involved and I know that they always try to steal elections.

those whose "action" is limited to hopeless complaining and whining. There's a lot of that around here. That's obviously very much not the case and I apologize.

But I repeat: The past does not predict the future. So unfortunately, it's normal for people to help dig themselves into holes, sit passively while they sink further, dig themselves down some more, repeat it all a few times, and then -- when they're finally to the point of blowing mud out their noses -- of necessity start climbing toward the light.

It may be that we're at least to the point of choking on our mud, and perhaps even further. I hope so anyway.

Carry on.

And for a review, to explain how the U.S. cabal has been controlling them, beginning with early software, and how Jeb Bush headed this up with members of his cabinet who went on to congress. It never stops. Here is a history lesson. Just know that the Tampa Bay Times just endorsed JEB! for the Primary! They KNOW about this too.....

I'm guessing the closer we get to the Iowa caucus, the more play rigging will get-- as it will certainly allow the supporters of the losing candidate something to hang their hat on in defeat.

That said, I want to see objective evidence, reviewed and analyzed by the relevant experts prior to allowing any claim of rigging any real validity.

The precinct chairperson knows what the vote was, and what the vote they sent in was, and I can't imagine them not checking it in the days after the primary.

Microsoft is using this for marketing reasons only. They're probably overjoyed Bernie has brought attention to them.
