Interesting e-mail today"

" I’m Eric Kingson and I’m running for Congress. My friend Bob Fertik at Democrats.com thought you'd want to hear about my campaign to represent the hardworking men and women of Central New York. As a longtime Central New York resident and Social Security advocate, I know the changes that we in the 24th district, as well as other Americans, need: the ability to support a family on a living wage, a secure retirement, excellent schools, investments in job-creating infrastructure and a level playing field for all of us.

I’m running because our economy, and too often our political system, work for the rich and powerful, but not for everyday Americans like ourselves. I’m running to represent you in Washington because I believe that if you work hard and play by the rules, you deserve more out of life.

I’m running because too many politicians think slashing Social Security and Medicare is the only solution to everything when those of us who have worked hard for that security and when young and middle-aged workers who are facing a retirement income crisis should be receiving larger benefits! "

It could have been lifted verbatim from one of Sanders' speeches.
