Will the Republican party get behind its front runner?

Or do they go to the convention?

I see the delegate count right now as

Trump - 316
Cruz - 226
Rubio - 106
Kasich - 25
Carson - 8

By percentages

Trump - 46%
Cruz - 33%
Rubio - 15.6%
Kasich - 3.67%
Carson - 1.17%

If those percentages hold, then nobody has won the nomination. Trump/Kasich is larger than Cruz/Rubio but neither is enough to get 50% alone.

Trump/Cruz or the perhaps stronger Trump/Rubio, however, wraps things up pretty handily.

And those numbers may not hold. Perhaps Cruz is up now because Texas and Oklahoma have already voted. Rubio will rise after Florida votes and Kasich pick up some in Ohio. I thought Bush and Christie were foolish to drop out though, instead of staying in and perhaps getting to play kingmaker with their own 10% of the delegates. Although if they had stayed in, perhaps Trump's lead would look even bigger. Right now, he's not that far ahead of Cruz.

You know how managers usually get involved in these things.
