Something to think about when you are freaking out about Trump

At the end of Shrubs presidency when it was clear he was a complete and utter failure there were still 30-35 % of the nation that approved of the job he was doing. Trump is winning the republican primary on average with 30-35%. That is actually less when considered in the context of the whole nation as opposed to just republicans but I would be willing to bet it is many of the same ignorant people that even when it was obvious Bush was a disaster still thought he was great.

That base of people will vote for any monkey you put in front of them the more bombastic and ridiculous the better. They don't care one whit about reality only that the right people are being hated.

The idea that we should fear that minority faction of the population only works if you are the MSM and need ratings. The reality is when it comes to the general even republicans will turn on trump, they are already doing so and getting louder every day about it.

The republican party started this election season as a long shot as the demographics get worse and worse for them each year. This is reality and is why they are doing so much to suppress voter turnout.

The idea that Trump has any realistic chance of being elected is laughable on it's face. Despite him winning the republican party primaries, consistently more vote against him than for him. That does not indicate strong support it indicates the problems in the republican party and what is left of their base. Enough of their remainder of their base is so completely out of touch with any sense of reality as to allow the guy with the biggest mouth to out poll any other candidate in their field. That portion doesn't care about issues they only care about hate.

Democrats should not be freaking out about this they should recognize it for what it is the utter breakdown of the republican party.

The TV will continue to pretend he has a shot all the way to the end when he loses in the largest landslide ever seen. It is good for ratings to have people tuning in every day in the hopes of seeing the disaster averted even though there is no actual chance of the disaster ever coming to fruition.

All I am asking is try to keep in mind that 35% of the country supported bush to the end and that is more people than there are currently supporting trump. The rest of the nation wised up long before it was over, and the vast majority of the nation still does not support trump no matter what the MSM tells you.

I may be wrong but I would bet money I am not.
