Native and "colored" people need to be at the place where environmental, criminal justice and education laws are made. In order to kick off my campaign for HD #16, I need to raise funds for filing fees, opening a bank account and hosting a kickoff event.



Brenda Golden is an activist, attorney, and advocate for human and civil rights. She is planning to run for the Oklahoma House District 16 seat that is being vacated by Jerry Shoemake in 2016. Brenda has a Juris Doctor, a Masters in Business Administration and a Bachelor's in Business Administration (Marketing.) She is a member of the Oklahoma Bar Association, serves on the Access to Justice Committee, and as Co-Chair of Public Relations for the Indian Law Section. She holds and has held many positions over the years that prepare her for service to the people of Oklahoma.

Ms. Golden's focus for Oklahomans if elected will be in Criminal Justice Reform, in particular Women in Prison and the racial disparities in sentencing. She is passionate about saving the environment and preserving the water for the future generations and will work toward that end if elected. Brenda has overcome major obstacles and challenges in life to not only get one college degree but two advanced degrees and believes our education system in Oklahoma needs some serious attention.

By donating now, you will help Brenda get her campaign started, there are filing fees, banking accounts, and events that need to get done by mid-April. There's alot to be done before the primary in June!
