Ted Cruz: One More Liberal Supreme Court Justice Will Lead to the Imprisonment of Christians

http://www.patheos.com/blogs/friendlyatheist/2016/03/08/ted-cruz-one-more-liberal-supreme-court-justice-will-lead-to-the-imprisonment-of-christians/

Explaining his case for himself, Cruz issued a dire warning about what might happen without a Cruz presidency. Naturally, it involves Christian persecution, because the gubment’s going to throw Christians in prison if Cruz isn’t there to save ‘Merika from a liberal justice sitting on the Supreme Court. (And, before you ask, no, Donald Trump can’t save us. He’s disqualified for using the ‘c’ word: compromise)....

We are one liberal justice away from the Supreme Court ordering Ten Commandments monuments torn down all over this country. We are one liberal justice away from the Supreme Court erasing the Second Amendment from the Bill of Rights.

We are one liberal justice away from the Supreme Court ordering veteran’s memorials torn down if they have any religious symbols — torn down all over this country.

And we are one liberal justice away from the Supreme Court making us subject to the World Court and the United Nations and international law and giving away US sovereignty.

Today Thom Hartmann talked about Cruz's dad's beliefs that Ted is to become "king", not president, so he can establish their religion exclusively.

They are the ones most likely to persecute anyone believing differently or not at all.

are Christians so eager to be persecuted, but I think your take on this makes much more sense. See, they really are thinking ahead and know that jobs are very important, especially jobs in the prison industry.

And here's a little factoid: In New Mexico, there's such a shortage of prison staff that most of them are working at least 60 hours a week. One of the prisons here has only 49% of the staff it needs. Those lucky devils get to work 72 hours a week. Time and a half when you only make $13 to $14 an hour really does add up. And yes, that's what this great state pays those people.

About 10% of Americans are atheists

between .07 and .2% of those in Federal prisons are atheists

So a disproportionate number of prisoners believe in God, Ted.

And Ted, the Supreme Court that has overseen that result is led by conservatives - not liberal democrats.

It appears atheists are more likely to follow the 10 commandments than Christians ... or maybe smarter to not get caught when they don't!!

So Ted, if you're really concerned about this, you should back Obama's nominee and see that it comes to a vote!!

I just can't stand Cruz.

I didn't like Ford but he was better than Nixon. I didn't want Reagan but I didn't hate him. I actually didn't mind George HW - certainly didn't hate him.

Bush Jr, I started to get into trouble with deeply not being able to stand him. John McCain, I didn't think was capable of being president, but there were likable parts to him during his maverick days. Romney was a slimy weasel - no getting around that.

But these two: Trump and Cruz, there is no winning with either of them. One is so narcissistic and infatuated with himself, I suspect the Oval Office will be lined with mirrors and the country will be an afterthought. Cruz has something wrong with him - he's a psycho or something - a header as the Irish used to say. Makes me wonder if all candidates should have to pass some sort of psych test. I know a lot of people feel that way about guns - why not the guy with his finger on the nuclear button? These guys are a little nuts.

I've been critical of Hillary but no way is she as bad as those guys. Hopefully, if she gets the nomination, the rest of the country sees it that way. The alternative is frightening.
