Trump in Chicago makes me think of Illinois nazis

1. Makes me think of my childhood best friend and her father

with the number tattooed on his arm. We are Jews. This crap is damn scary.

But, it is nice to have the Blues Brothers on our side

The movie scene is in reference to the 1970s rally the nazis did in Skokie IL a Chicago suburb which at the time had one of the highest populations of Holocaust survivors. The ACLU backed the nazis for free speech. John Landis cowrote the movie with Dan Ackroyd. Landis is a Chicago born Jew.

2. You do not have to be Jewish to be afraid. Almost any

minority in this country must understand the fear.

For me that includes old white great grandmothers from mixed marriages and a severely disabled child.

I don't think you will be alone in this fight. We just have to remember to stand together.
