One of Mr. Trumps personal security guards, who has worked for him for years, was the first to jump on stage. Three other men who appeared to be Secret Service agents jumped on stage, and all formed a ring around Mr. Trump.
A few seconds later, they hopped back off the stage, suggesting whatever had taken place was not a real threat.
(end snip)
Were these secret service? Or Trump actors (security strongmen) on a stage? Apparently a legitimate question.

(25,246 posts)Trump plants as well. Especially today - it looks like he is seeding the crowds showing up for him just to incite them.
The clown car has emptied out and it looks like we got Barnum and Bailey's lead clown - leading what's left of the pack.

(383 posts)If he is setting up Bernie, he must see Bernie as a threat these days.
Some one else posted that this is the kind of thing Trump did on his TV shows.
Got people fighting with each other and then stood back and enjoyed it all.

(6,679 posts)If the full speech is still available look about 10 min before the stage bounce. That's where this guy was getting hustled out for throwing the bottle.

(6,679 posts)She was close enough to see it happen. She's not a Trump supporter but is a Republican. Said she though it was a accident but who knows.

(53,410 posts)For Trump it seems perfectly OK to see other people getting hurt, which in itself shows a real lack of empathy, but when it gets personal and he might get hurt he would definitely react. Maybe he'll suddenly see the light and soften that hateful rhetoric of his. I'm kind of curious to see what he does after realizing he came close to possibly getting hurt.
I know it would scare me, but if it was staged then he has no reason to be frightened.
