Jerry Springer says raucous GOP campaign too much for him

https://www.washingtonpost.com/entertainment/tv/jerry-springer-says-raucous-gop-campaign-too-much-for-him/2016/03/15/7b5f4df4-eac5-11e5-a9ce-681055c7a05f_story.html

NEW YORK — Jerry Springer, a man who knows something about out-of-control television, says the raucous Republican campaign is too much even for him.

“When I first started watching the Republican debates I said that, you know, if they’re going to do my show, they should start paying me,” said Springer, whose talk show has been known to devolve into wild brawls.

But while it’s one thing to have a TV show like that, “that’s not how you run a country,” Springer said in an interview with MSNBC’s Steve Kornacki on Tuesday. “It’s disgraceful.”

Springer is a former Democratic mayor of Cincinnati who is supporting Hillary Clinton for president.

Not sure that we're culturally beyond it all but at least we've made some legal improvements. We'll get there in the city.

The burbs...I'm not sure I'm going to count on them for a long time. There's a reason Trumpster moved his rally from the city center out to the burbs. Remember, the Cincinnati burbs gave y'all John Boehner for a long time. Unopposed for the last 3 elections IIRC.

Hope your electoral politics guru is making progress and still fighting the good fight.
