Gov. Snyder (MI-Reptile) in front of congressional committee LIVE

Wow, just wowser.
Talk about being raked over the coals.

This morning, after playing with puppy and getting a nice dose of sunshine, I turned on CNN (MSNBCLinton is unwatchable these days) and there was the governator of Michigan being absolutely skewered by some congressman who demanded that he resign.

Luckily, I get C-Spin-3, showing the skewering in real time.

At this moment, Rep. COnnolly (D-VA) just showed 8,000 pages of edicts issued by Snyder's emergency managers (after they castrated the city council) issued. And not one deals with the lead issue that they had known of that entire year.

Resignation? Not good enough. CRIMINAL CHARGES? If possible, yes.

Actually, both are being questioned at the same time.
If Snyder somehow survives this mess he created, no, I do not think that he can.

Administrator, governor, you both need to resign.

That is pretty much how she started up.

by the way, the vote is a neocon effort to screw the Supreme Court on some issue.

Looks like folks are slowly seeping back in, much like the lead in Flint water.

After a while, with few exceptions, it became a GOP vs. Dem piss on one target, support the other.

But, to his credit, he did call these hearings and demanded that the Reptilian Governor appear. He hasn't been exactly supportive of Snyder, either.

on edit. I cannot believe I actually typed about Chaffetz, "to his credit."

Wow, did he just kick some GOP ass right now, quoting multiple GOPers including presidential con-didates, and their verbal attacks on EPA and the Clean Water Act.

At his congressional hearing, Snyder seemed to parrot the things his PR crisis team had prepped him with. He denied any knowledge of problems with Flint’s water and blamed everyone else. This was not just a slap in the face of the committee he was testifying in front of, but an insult to the people who had been hurt or killed thanks to his shoddy administration. Democratic Congressman Matt Cartwright of Pennsylvania was having none of it.

“Gov. Snyder, plausible deniability only works when it’s plausible. And I’m not buying that you didn’t know about any of this until October 2015.

You were not in a medically induced coma for a year. And I’ve had about enough of your false contrition and your phony apologies.”
