that this is true, and that he's coming out of retirement to do political commentary. Not sports.

If this is true, it's one of the greatest pieces of news I've heard in a while.

He is greatly missed and his voice could have an impact on this election.

By all accounts he's "difficult" to work with, but his comments were absolutely brilliant. I was sad when Current shut down and MSNBC proves to be a bust. We now have The Young Turks streaming, Randi Rhodes coming back, and now, hopefully, Keith. The most interesting election of my life just became even more interesting!

The show will be streaming online with, I assume, a podcasting option. I first heard her show many years ago, on local Palm Beach County radio, when I visited my parents- my dad listened every day. Missed her the past couple of years!

Current!! Current had the best 3 hour block of liberal media political coverage ever put on television. I doubt we will ever have another network like it -- and, we will never have another network that will be willing to play the Tupac/Biggie murder and the war on marijuana documentaries as often as Current

Being a Jew originally from NY myself, she's just like family so I can easily relate. I do know that people from other backgrounds and cultures can find her challenging. However, she is meticulous with her facts and puts the original sources on her website so you will be informed, if you can get past the personality.

I dug him and other progressive or liberal hosts such as Thom Hartmann, Ed Shultz, TYT (this was back when Jill Pike was on with Cenk before she went to Third Way) but I still enjoy Thom and Cenk.

I'm not a huge fan of Stephanie something or other either. Can't remember her last name, but she used to be an occasional guest on Thom Hartmann's show.

Before I seem sexist for not appreciating Randi or Stephanie, Anna rocks it on TYT.

She has the morning drive time slot (at least here in California) on the XM progressive station. I used to listen to Morning Sedition on Air America (and when we had progressive radio in the Bay Area). Steph is nowhere near as good as Marc Maron et al. She's ok though gushing a bit too much about Hillary for my personal taste. This morning she was explaining that Hillary has the same supporter enthusiasm level as Bernie. She based this on the $250 per person Hillary fundraiser she went bersus the thousands who went to see Bernie for free yesterday. Bernie even spoke to those outside who couldn't get in; Hillary only talks to you if you pay.

Including accusing Hillary of lying to her voters for not dropping out. He wasn't close to being alone in it either. Stuff like this is why I lmao at Bernie stans talking about unfair media coverage. When they start calling him out as conning his supporters they'll have a point.

It kind of was rushed at end but it sounded like he was making a pitch to whoever would pick him up.

With social media and alternate new sources, I'd like to see him start up something or join up with Big Ed, Young Turks, Democracy Now and give cable news a real run for the money and crush the shell of whatever that is at MSNBC.

Remember Meet the Press with Russert and Colin Powell discussing Iraq, when the producer "Wendy" killed the camera and you could hear Powell chastise her. "What's going on, Wendy?"

Then Tweety with the "You want me to stop?", when praising Bernie Sanders.

There is no free press EXCEPT for Online. The only place where the truth is told. Many stories have been grudgingly mentioned in Corporate Media because the stories blew up on the internet.

In a surprising victory, John Edwards finished ahead of Hillary (distant 3rd) with Obama in the lead in the Iowa caucus.
I anxiously tuned into Rachel's show, expecting excited talk about Edward's surprising upset 2nd place finish.
In a 1 hour program, dedicated mostly to the Iowa Caucus, John Edwards' name was NOT mentioned ONCE despite his surprising 2nd Place.

It was glaringly odd that Rachel announced the 1st Place, skipped over 2nd place, and went directly to the distant 3rd place Hillary....and then Promoted UP how it was a horse race between Obama & Hillary.
WTF?

Olberman came on next, and I was thinking that NOW we will get to hear about Edward's upset 2nd Place and momentum....but NO.
Olberman's show did the same as Rachel's show.
John Edwards name was not mentioned ONCE.

It was clear then that they both were following corporate orders: the corporate ordered narrative had been decided: The Democratic Primary was a Horse Race between Obama and Hillary (the two corporate, Wall Street candidates).
I lost respect for both Rachel and Keith, and stopped watching both of them that night.
