I can't predict the outcome, but I still can't see trump running as the goo nominee.

And the electorate is angry and looking for change. We need to be prepared for a major fight. Anyone thinking this'll be a cakewalk is not paying attention. Maybe the Repub candidate will self destruct but we can't count on that.

You can laugh and say "No Way!" but really, "Yes Way!"

This shit is dead serious and entirely possible. Given the Democrats' talent for snatching defeat from the jaws of victory, we need a landslide just to break even.

The future of our survival is really at stake here.

I don't think trump has any support. It's still terrifying. I'm just focused on Bernie.

Now is when we need to be doing what we should have been doing for the past fifteen years: fighting hard to secure voter rights, working hard to win over state and local support, and shifting focus to Congressional races, to build a permanent, ethically sound majority that is simply off limits to the sorts of mudballs who are now par for the Republican course.

Our incompetence in this century has led to one and only one advantage: by trying to box us out of politics, the criminals, racists, chickenhawks and grifters have all corralled themselves into one ever-shrinking party; they have conditioned the stupidest one-third of voters into reflexively avoiding us, so we don't have to coddle their stupid beliefs.

We do not have to cater to evil.

Seriously, one third of Republicans are probably going to stay home in this election. We will never again have such a wonderful chance to recapture Congress and state legislatures. If we start from the bottom RIGHT NOW and work our way up, it could be decades before American politics is as corrupted as it was only eight years ago.

Or, it could be more corrupted than it ever has been by January of next year. But this time, it is our choice, not theirs.
