Madoff fleeced the wealthy! That is the only reason he got tagged. You can steal from the poor and working class from here to Sunday and not hear a peep on commercial media.
The harm Madoff did was pennies to dollars compared to the total ass-fucking administered by the financial elite of Wall St to the whole world.
