Attila the Donald vs Ted Torquemada

There's no telling which is worse. But either Trump or Cruz will probably end up as the Republican nominee for president. And, given the strangeness of this election season, one of them could possibly end up in the White House.

That thought goes beyond scary and touches down into total terror territory.

Imagine either one of them with control of the American military machine and having their finger on "the button."

Odds are that Hillary or Bernie will be our next president. But what if that doesn't happen? What if either Trump or Cruz ends up in the White House?

I don't have a crystal ball. And neither does any pundit. All I can say is keep your passport up to date. There is a similarity between today's America and Germany of the 1930s. The comparisons aren't exact. But the possible outcomes could be.

And no, I'm not being an alarmist. I know what hatred looks like and where it can lead. And right now, I fear for our country and the people of this world.

Perhaps you disagree. All I can say is get your head out of the sand and look around. When was the last time you remember so many haters publicly proclaiming their hatred?

This time around, it's really different.

Planned of course. I think they probably have the people on speed dial to make it happen.

If we behave like them, we become them.

Yeah, I know about the reality of "The American Way," the "superiority of Democracy," "the good guys," and the "rule of law."

But I have not yet given up hope. Perhaps, to some degree, that makes me an idiot.

Lindsey Graham was on Noahs show, he thinks it may be the death of conservative politics.

will be replaced by something else. Perhaps something even worse. A political "vacuum" like that doesn't last long. And those that move in could be far worse than we want.
