The world donated $1 million to the toddler left to fend for himself. See him 2 months later

A two-year-old Nigerian boy who was found emaciated and riddled with worms after his family left him for dead has made an incredible recovery.

A picture of the starving toddler being given a sip of water by an aid worker broke hearts around the world when it was published in January.

The boy, now called Hope, was abandoned by his family because they thought he was a witch and was found in the streets by Anja Ringgren Loven, a Danish woman living in Africa, on January 31.

And now Ms Loven has shared a series of photographs showing Hope's miraculous recovery in just eight short weeks, and says he 'is really enjoying life now'.

Millions of people respond to the needy. Many do it all the time but you don't hear about it. I know people who donate on an ongoing basis to quite a few charities: Doctors Without Borders, The Humane Society, Unicef, Wilderness, etc.

People aren't the problem. Governments like ours who spend trillions on wars and their precious military could make the world a much better place for every single human being.

The sad part is there are so any little children suffering in the world. I'm glad Hope's story had a happy ending. Ms. Loven is certainly living up to her name.

But what if he is a witch and becomes this terrible person, maybe he's even a Republican ! He could turn into a conservative Republican like that guy who make pizza or Alen Keys. We don't know what makes a person of color become a Republican but witch craft is one of mythe reasons that is on the table. Magic spells may account for nearly half of all Republicans in light of the fact that there are in fact so many very nice people who identify as republican. It's perplexing. I just think we owe it to them to continue to search for a cure or a way to break through the mind controlling demons that inhabit their poor addled brains.
So I think we keep an eye on this tyke watching for any Republican style behaviour such as being stingy or refusing to share. Cheating, and or lying , hording toys, food or random objects. Acting fearfull and worrying constantly and crying non stop over nothing. These are all sure signs that you might just have a Republican on your hands.
Saddly republicanism is incurable. There is no drug no therapy no way to rehabilitate these poor afflicted people. But what can you do. We are civilized people. We are liberal and we care too much sometimes our hearts have been known to bleed. So we will heal even a witch or a warlock or a humpback bridge troll if we have to and they can go vote for any candidate they choose. We still love them just the same.

peanutbutter.

About that time, French research scientist Andre Briend began testing a fortified peanut butter mixture in Chad. The mixture contained peanut paste, dried skimmed milk, sugar, oil, vitamins and minerals.

“The idea of developing this product came to me when I realized that the chocolate spread used by my kids to put on their bread during breakfast (Nutella) had a protein lipid energy composition very similar to the liquid milk-based food recommended by WHO to treat severe malnutrition,” Briend said in an e-mail. He worked with Nutriset, a company that specializes in making foods for emergency relief, to develop a peanut-based version of the product.

“The advantage of the new product is that bacteria do not grow in it and it is safer to use than the milk-based diet” used by the World Health Organization, Briend said.

My first thought is always about how many people (including Americans) this could feed. I agree that we need to get money out of politics.
