Model S gets a makeover: Tesla reveals new-look car featuring a grille-less front

Tesla has today unveiled a fresh-look Model S sedan.

The car takes some style cues from the new Model X crossover, which was revealed late last year.

The most notable changes are a new fascia, adaptive LED headlights and a grille-less front end.

Tesla says the car will now feature Model X's advanced 'Bioweapons Defense Mode' cabin air filtration system as an option.

4. Why not? The only reason to have a grill is for air to get to the radiator NT.

While they have doubtless tweaked drag coefficient a bit, it's not like it had a working grille before. The air intake for HVAC etc is above the airdam only on both versions

7. While the car obviously needs no real grille

I still think it looks better with a contrast panel of some kind to break up that front expanse and give it shape. Do like the new lights better though.
