restroom! I posted about this a couple of months ago, where I was on the way back from a doctor's appointment in Knoxville and had stopped to get gas. While I was pumping my gas, and adding a quart of oil to my vehicle, I suddenly felt that "urge". I had another 50 miles to on the Interstate before hitting my exit, and didn't want to have to stop again.

I finished pumping my gas, then went back in the store and asked where their restroom was. The lady behind the counter pointed the way, which was right around the corner from the counter. As luck would have it, the men's room was occupied, and there was another guy standing in front of me. The person already in there was taking f o r e v e r

I won't get too personal with details, but one of the results of my neck inury, subsequent surgeries and nerve damage is the inability to hold my bladder for long. I stated doing the "I *REALLY* gotta GO!" dance, and even the guy in front of me made remark about the other person taking so long! The cashier looked over at us and said "you know you can use the ladies room, right? I clean them both every day, and they are EXACTLY the same!" The guy in front of me looked absolutely mortified at the thought, but told me to "go ahead". I ran in there, made sure I lifted the seat, took care of business, put the seat back down, washed & dried my hands, and came out. The other guy was STILL WAITING!

I said "Thank you!" to him, and the cashier, and was on my merry way again! No harm, no foul to anyone!

I remember back in the mid 80's being at an outdoors musicfest and chili cookoff at Quiet Waters Park in West Palm Beach with my wife, 2 cousins, and their wives. The park had public restroom facilities, and when I went to use them, they were pretty packed, and the women's side was even worse! When I finally got in, I was a little surprised when a woman came in right behind me. She went to one of the urinals, turned around, and hiked the back of her skirt up and said "Excuse me guys, but when you gotta go, you gotta GO!" No one even batted an eyelash, much less bothered her, and she was done and on her way...

I read a thread on this subject last week, and someone made the comment {paraphrasing} "I worry more about my
kids being exposed to the Pastor and Sunday School Teachers, than a trans person in a restroom", and thinking to myself "I can relate to that" from when my kids were little, and decided that they wanted to go to church with their friends.

Peace,

Ghost

It's got Leviticus 18.22, the hit list in Leviticus 20, all the smiting and none of the salvation.
