Are There Any Down Ticket Races Or Issues In NY That....

will get people out to vote in numbers that could help any presidential candidate running in either party?

The state and local race primary is held in September. I will gladly defer to more knowledgeable sources, though.

CD 1 on eastern Long Island will be having a hot Congressional race. Lee Zeldin is a teabagger who snuck in last time. Unfortunately, we have to get through a primary to find the challenger, but quite a few people are more worked up about that race than the Presidential.

We have 7-8 competitive House races this fall.
