The reality is much harsher, particularly about the republicans.

As for utopian Democrats, they are usually mocked by their own party.

actually gross understatements. The Dem description bears no resemblance to me or any liberal I know.

The description of the right wing's direction sure as hell does not describe their main leadership groups', inside and outside the GOP itself, well organized commitment to the destruction of the America of the past.

Although it describes inborn tendencies of ordinary conservatives, it also completely ignores that they have been dutifully assisting that leadership in oversetting our past for nearly four decades now.

I've had probably a dozen conservatives tell me in as many conversations that privatizing our wonderful USPS -- established by Benjamin Franklin, for god's sake, replacing door-to-door delivery with kiosks in neighborhood parking lots, and multiplying the cost to mail a card to Aunt Celia several times over will be just fine with them. Sheeple!

Pandering with the, 'both parties do it' is pathetic no matter which person it is coming from. Love Jon, but hate it when he panders.

We all know the Democratic party has some warts--no doubt.

But---it ain't even close to the dumb asses on the Right.

of road rage. Sorry Jon, but if that is how you feel then you really don't understand the Democratic party very well. And if you are pandering to someone with the 'both parties do it', then shame on you...makes you no better then the people you rail against.

Love Jon, but when he is wrong he is wrong. The Democratic party simply wants to make it easier for the working poor to have a good life...what year did that become a crime? It must be a crime.
