(27,995 posts)I've been hearing that it may be a really close race. I'll be volunteering for Kirkpatrick later this summer.

(94,591 posts)...McCain is actually polling very poorly, and may have trouble with a Tea Party Primary. I consider this an outer-range opportunity for a pick-up.

Say who? The turd's name is Thune. And he won in 2010 by a huge margin because he had NO opponent. His opponent this year is not considered viable (meaning he is neither rich nor famous) but at least he does have an opponent.
Hoeven is in NORTH Dakota, and, as such, I am not sure about his last election. Ballotpedia tells me he did win big, and had an opponent. Ouch. I would expect there to be a few more yellow dog voters than that.
North Dakota. Fixed. Thanks.

(10,168 posts)Not Jordan Feingold, but THE Russ Feingold, our former Senator that was pushed out with the 2010 teabagger shitstorm. I would assume that most Dems still know who Russ Feingold is.

(1,415 posts)I always get that wrong. I knew a Jordan Feingold once. Apologies to the great state of Wisconsin!
