Construction crew moves car aside with forklift. Owner is lucky neighbor filmed it

thought my dad had parked it like that at first,' Henry told the NY Post. 'But I thought it was pretty weird. Then I started to notice all the damages, and I freaked out. I was so pissed off.'

That damage included a mangled bumper, broken undercarriage and misaligned steering. It will cost $2,600 to repair.
That's more than a quarter of the $9,000 price the Nahrwolds had paid for the SUV less than a week before.

Exactly what had happened might have remained a mystery if it weren't for a neighbor, who had filmed the workers as they hauled the car away, and showed the footage to Thomas.

'My dad was searching around trying to figure out what happened when someone came out of the building and said they had video of the forklifting,' Henry told The Post.

'It’s outrageous. They could have at least left a note saying, "Hey, we picked your car up because we didn’t know what the hell we were doing."

They probably wanted to get one of their big rigs up the street and just moved it out of the way.'

A spokesperson from Two Trees, the company behind the $2billion redevelopment, said that RNC Construction was to blame.

'We pride ourselves on being good neighbors and have reprimanded our subcontractor for this unacceptable behavior,' she said.

'We have been assured that the subcontractor will fully pay for any damages.'

I"d be suing for more than just repairs as some will not reveal themselves right away. I'd be demanding a brand new replacement and then some.
