40 reminds you how much more fun 20 was.

She kept saying over and over that her friend was so young - we were so shocked - we told her that was old...we were clueless.

We're lucky she stayed around for almost 78 years - we were able to show her that we understood that her friend was really young.

i was 7 to 13, cant quite place the age thinking 30 was it.
You turn 30 that was it, it was Logan's Run.
Now at 57 I should have gone carousel 20 years ago at least.

Some grey, but not too many.
Wrinkles, not too many at all. Still get carded for booze.
No walking stick.

I like being 40. Recently, I had a 36 year old woman say that she was too old for me.

One complaint though. Why does the grey hair not grow like the rest of your hair. It's like having errant, white pubic hairs growing out of your head.

She said that there was no electricity, people cooked over fires, everyone lived in log cabins, all the photographs were in black and white, people had to forage for their food, etc.

I didn't know I'd be digging them out of dumpsters.

I got older and life got strange.
