Phony Donald!!!On a DU thread yesterday ( http://www.democraticunderground.com/10027870110 )we discussed possibilities and GaYellowDawg came up with Phony Donald. Here's why it works better then my Dodging Donald (and I think you'll see why it is the best of all possibilities as well):
Dodging Donald speaks to an activity which is best applied to his relationship with the draft, the IRS, and the truth. That's pretty good.
BUT
Phony Donald, while lacking the alliteration, speaks to his essence. Dodging is just the manifestation of that essence.
Trump's nicknames at times focus on essence (Crooked Hillary, Low-Energy Jeb) and at times on its manifestations (Lyin' Ted), but they are always best when they (as Scott Adams said on Real Time last Friday) confirm a pre-existing perception of the figure and work even better when every time you see the figure the nickname is readily applicable. The term, then, reinforces our "confirmation bias." (And the process has psychological inertia and the listener/viewer becomes ever more certain.)
So everytime you see Trump you will think Phony Donald, and his mannerisms and speech and lifestyle and change of ideas, and trumpeted non-ideas. etc, all confirm the notion of phoniness.
I suggest we try to engrain Phony Donald on the public mind.

It adds organized-crime to his character.

I've never seen a public figure who inspires so many disparaging descriptors. The day is coming where his name will be what people say in place of asshole, monster, troll, liar, blowhard and whatever name that means a horrible person.
