That is a highly evocative photo. I can taste and smell that pier, the water. I can hear the sound of lapping, soft clanking. A dreamy image encased in realism. Every time I look at it, I get the feeling I'm looking through a hole instead of a reflection. Just lovely!

Mnhtnbb had a strong contender for the May contest, which was withdrawn in order to fill in for me. It was my first entry/first win, and while I will probably enter again, I'll be sure to be a bit more prepared in the event lightning strikes twice!
