I am so excited about this election prospect

(powers that be, I think this is GD and not GDP.. but if I am wrong.. just let me know.. sometimes it is hard to tell )

I got up this morning .. drinking my cup of coffee.. and thinking about all the endorsements that will be coming to our nominee.. and do you know.. we have three ..one two three Presidents who will be endorsing our nominee..

There are only the Bushes on the republican side, and their disgust with Trump will keep them from campaigning.. He went a mile too far even for them with his attack on Jeb.

I do have more trust in the Democratic Party tho. We are far from perfection but one thing Dems do have . . . being diverse in race, religion, ideology, et al.

Go Dems!

the core of the Democratic Party is liberal with liberal ideology, and everything Sanders wants to achieve is liberal in ideology. Everything most of us value about our government has liberalism at its base.

Our Declaration of Independence that all men are created equal and have inalienable right is liberal and was written by Thomas Jefferson, one of the founders of what eventually became known as the Democratic Party. Our party has always been the strong one that stood for those principles and protected them against continual attempts to set them aside.

Our Bill of Rights is liberal and secured for us by the founders of the Democratic Party. It remains in force today because of the Democratic Party but is under constant attack, which the Democratic Party continues to protect it from.

We have a lot more going for us than just being a collection of diverse peoples. We are our bulwark against oppression from the right, and any other direction. We've protected and upheld the ideals that would have been destroyed long ago by those who do not believe in them. And many, but by no means all, conservative and extremist Americans do not.

A whole right-wing industry is devoted to convincing people the Democratic Party is corrupt and without principle so they will turn on it and help destroy their own government of, by, and for the people. The GOP had good people but has been taken over by forces determined to destroy America as we've always known it. Until those conservatives who believe in the principles our nation is founded on rediscover their political souls, the Democrats are the protector of a secular democratic republic that exists to serve its people and only to serve its people.

I think both are awful.

But, I will vote, as I always do.

Lots of good DEMs to vote for downticket in my home state of CT.
