As a liberal, I stand with truly oppressed minorities

One of those groups is the LGBT community.

An organization with 1.7 billion followers around the world and considerable power in many nations that is often used to hurt the LGBT community, among other oppressed minorities, will get no defense from me. They have power. They need to figure their own shit out.

That said, I do consider that Muslims are an oppressed minority in some locales. I do not support banning Islam. I do support imposition of secularism on the public sphere.
