After interviewing him twice. I'm sure he was truthful about his radical views. Not. How could they have him on a watch list but he was still able to purchase guns? The system has some serious holes in it.

if every muslim who has expressed radical views were under surveillance, every FBI employee (33K) would have his own radical to monitor 24 hours per day.

(39,343 posts)I'm curious to see if his security clearance went through USIS, a former contractor who let slip a ton of people who should never gotten clearances. The #1 provider of background checks for security clearances has been found time and time again to have fallen down on the job.
