Local Muslims announced their opposition to bigotry and support for the victims of the attack on Pulse, the gay nightclub in Orlando that became the site of the deadliest mass shooting in American history....

"We wish to respond to evil with good, as our faith instructs us, and send a powerful message of compassion through action," Florida Muslims said on the fund-raising website....

Officials with the Florida branch of the Council on American-Islamic Relations emphasized that they have been partners with members of the lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender community in confronting bigotry.

Officials with Equality Florida, a LGBT group, appeared alongside Muslim leaders at a news conference outside the nightclub.

1. I worked with plenty of Muslims over the years

and they were all well aware of gay coworkers and I never saw or heard any antigay guff from any of them. Some Christians were not so polite.

This is a violent guy who beat his wife, was a gun fetishist, and appears to have surfed gay porn sites and jihadi sites to whip up his already overwhelming self righteous rage.

The FBI knew who he was. How the hell was he able to get concealed carry permits (he had 2) and a Bushmaster?

Gun laws in this country are a sick joke and now 50 people are dead and 53 fighting for their lives in hospital because of it.
