So... On the one hand, Trump loves to bash the press.

On the other hand, he wants to ride this election to victory with free coverage from the press, instead of spending money to build an actual campaign-infrastructure.

Mexico will pay for this wall!
Trump will get the US better deals with China and Iran simply by demanding so!
Trump will get rid of 11 million people simply by saying so!
The press will cover him for free, they will cover him favorably, and they will love it!
