The bottom line is simple - it was a wild west show in the middle of an apartment complex with kids outside on a summer night trying to enjoy their evening. Just playing.

The point is that this is what is going to happen in every circumstance - a gun battle in the middle of our homes - when the first reaction to anything is to reach for a gun.

There were cops RIGHT THERE, at the apartment complex, and these gun fighters didn't care one bit.
