MADISON (WKOW) -- A new poll out Monday shows Democratic challenger Russ Feingold leads incumbent Sen. Ron Johnson (R-WI) by ten points in the 2016 race for U.S. Senate in Wisconsin.

According to the survey conducted June 8-9 by the Democratic firm Public Policy Polling, Feingold leads Sen. Johnson 51-41 percent in a rematch of the 2010 election in which Johnson unseated Feingold, who had served 18 years in the Senate.

45 percent of those polled said Sen. Johnson's endorsement of presumptive Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump made it less likely they would vote for him in November, compared to 18 percent who said the endorsement would make them more likely to vote for Johnson.

A majority of those surveyed - 51 percent - said Sen. Johnson should withdraw his endorsement of Trump.

A new Marquette University Law School poll on the race will be released Wednesday.

So much damage to Governmental Institutions and Systems Going to take twenty years to restore what they destroyed. And that was their game plan. Winners were the Koch Brothers,John Menard,Tim Mills, the Roundy's and Hendricks. As well as the Mining Industry. Losers were the rank and file Wisconsinites who fell for the Con Job via ALEC.

If The Donald keeps going the way he has been, I can see a lot of endangered Republicans jumping ship to save their asses. Will the Wisconsin Republicans see this as a license to vote for Johnson or have they seen the light?

Only Scott Walker and Independent Robbie Hoffman have announced. Seems our state party leadership is still ineffective, despite the Chair being replaced last year.
