"Our assessment is that, if left unchecked, these four forces - participation, productivity, polarisation and poverty - will corrode the underpinnings of growth and hold back gains in US living standards," she added.

It's better then nothing I suppose, but that's a small comfort to people living in minimum wage poverty.

$15.00/hour doesn't go far for a single person.

High poverty and ignorance are the goals.

(26,291 posts)After all there are other ways to own people and one of them is to force them to live at the edge of if not in poverty so that they are pretty much at your mercy.
Walmart and alot of the retailers have been using this method more and more to keep their employees in line over the years.
