Dipshit governor thinks judicial branch isn't an equal pillar of govt & 5-3 Supreme Court rulings shouldn't count.

@GovWalker
Today's decision from a divided court is a prime example of activist jurists imposing their will on the people.

(70,206 posts)I am waiting to hear from PP in WI to get a better idea of what this decision might mean for WI........
http://www.jsonline.com/news/usandworld/us-supreme-court-strikes-down-texas-abortion-restrictions-b99751555z1-384536571.html
......"When directly asked at oral argument whether Texas knew of a single instance in which the new requirement would have helped even one woman obtain better treatment, Texas admitted that there was no evidence in the record of such a case," he wrote. "This answer is consistent with the findings of the other federal district courts that have considered the health benefits of other states' similar admitting-privileges laws."
While decrying the ruling, anti-abortion activists in Wisconsin quickly recognized its larger impact.
"In effect, the Supreme Court has decided that the abortion industry will continue to reign unchecked as mothers are subjected to subpar conditions, not only in Texas and Wisconsin, but around the country," stated Heather Weininger, executive director of Wisconsin Right to Life. "Despite this disappointing decision, we at Wisconsin Right to Life will continue our work to offer hope to women."
Iris Riis, media relations specialist at Planned Parenthood of Wisconsin, said her group would comment shortly.
"We are still analyzing the decision, so we will be able to comment on it...as soon as we have our analysis done," she said. ....................

(82,849 posts)I mean, it's very simple, Gov. Walker: Don't sign unconstitutional bills into law, and the Supreme Court won't have to spank your ass. The clue train has now left the station.
