Joe Strummer rolling in his GRAVE as the GE Smith Band plays "Rock The Casbah" at tonight's RNC

I have no idea who the clueless anus is on vocals, but the Clash has just been de-fanged.

Lots of convention-goers boogieing in their seats. I'm glad Joe's not alive to see this.

The Clash, with lefty Joe Strummer....RIP maestro

And the song Rock The Casbah, a song about censorship basically.

The Clash, one of the most politically active.

Since it's a cover of the song, nothing the Clash can do about it. Mick Jones probably wouldn't care anyway as long as he got paid.

Joe Strummer on the other hand...FULL integrity and he is sorely missed and yes he is rolling tonight
