Have they managed to take care of any business at all?
Or have they just been wholly focused on stopping everything? Something that it sounds like they plan on continuing to do.

There are so many important things that need to be taken care of right now and they just sit and do nothing. And get paid for it.

(17,195 posts)Most of the bills, you don't hear about. A more apt question would be if they have done anything productive about the issues that most interest their constituents.
For one thing, we've had 8 years of budgets passed, as contentious as they have been. The bureaucracy keeps functioning, although the engine sputters quite a bit recently.

3. They made some really good lobbying connections, in case #2 didn't work out.
What ELSE are they there for?

Someone on DU pointed out that they have controlled both houses in Congress, 34 Governorship and most States houses.
Gee, what could be wrong?
