I think Manafort's "slip" was simply him trying to say Trump was going to endorse Ryan. I would be really amazed if Trump dropped out - his ego won't allow it.

2. No. As to Ryan, at a debate HRC would pat him on the head and then rip his heart out.

He'll totally implode a month before the election. Possibly Gregg Stillson style. That's when Ryan will be drafted to run.

he's still headed to win 20 or so states. people have been shellacked far worse and stayed in the race.

trump will stay in and then "write" a book and go on a speaking tour and find other ways to cash in on his notoriety and declare himself a "winner".

It's also rather late in the game for another candidate to get on the ballot. I don't believe there's any precedent for this in US history.

If he does, there is no way to get a replacement GOP presidential candidate on several states' ballots. And that list grows daily.

Like him or not, the GOP knows that they are stuck with Drumpf.

The question here is: why are there so many DUers who do not understand the facts that we have so many of these Drumpf is gonna quit posts?

There is no way for the GOP to replace him should be ones first thought. The utter electoral chaos that results for the GOP should be ones second thought.

After vetting fucking 17 candidates, Drumpf is what the GOP has selected. The GOP are stuck with him. That is a condemnation in itself.

Dropping out would make him just about the biggest loser in all of history. He obviously doesn't want to be president but he'll have to keep this clusterfuck going until the very end to save face.
