Surprisingly well done sarcasm from Manafort

In an article on the campaign re-shuffling:

"Manafort, in a statement, said that he is sure the additions will 'undoubtedly help take the campaign to new levels of success.'"

I gotta give Moscow Mannie credit for that extremely dry comment, because nobody in the campaign is likely to detect the what is implied by "new levels of success".

But, sure, going from 40% down to 20% is certainly going to be a "new level of success" for them.

He didn't say they were going to succeed or be successful, but that they would hit a "new level of success".

I don't care who you are, that's a pretty funny thing for him to say.

Going from 40% down to 50% down is ALSO a "new level of success." He covered all bases. 63splitwindow Aug 2016 #1

Was in a LTTE I saw just after Reagan snuffed it:

"Whatever your opinion of Ronald Reagan, one thing is clear; we will forever be in his debt."
