(36,693 posts)Some say Hillary is not rusted because she lies. I have yet to see any examples of her lies.
Trump has been caught in many lies. NFL letter, seeing Muslims dancing in the streets, and been called on it. And then he denies he even said it or blames someone else. Says others just twist his words around.

(130,960 posts)So, by definition, 'a person who tells a lie and does not realize they are telling a lie' is NOT telling a lie.

(82,383 posts)It's being gullible. Just to repeat Hilary is a liar because they heard someone else say it - not to look into things for yourself.

(43,049 posts)One tells a lie for a reason, and not all reasons are bad. One might lie to steal your money, or lie to hide the fact that your son stole your money. Never forget the time-honored example of "Do you like my new hairdo?"
Bullshitting, however, is that guy at the end of the bar who just won't shut up. An expert on everything, when called on something tries to bullshit his way out of it.
Yes, Hillary has lied-- it's what politicians do. The real points would be the purpose of those lies, and who was hurt by them. Or helped by them.
Trump, however, is the ultimate bullshitter-- he has no concept of the difference between truth and falsehood, or why there should be a difference. He just spouts bullshit.
