Today, my fellow Americans, we awoke to news that Donald Trump has shaken up his presidential campaign — again.

Back in June, the Republican presidential nominee fired his campaign manager, bare-knuckle brawler Corey Lewandowski, and hired a more mannerly brawler named Paul Manafort. Two months later, Trump has layered two new managers over his Russophile campaign chief.

The new campaign manager is Kellyanne Conway. She is a veteran GOP pollster. But she has never run an actual presidential campaign. The new campaign chief executive is Stephen Bannon, executive chairman of Breitbart News.

The Post’s Robert Costa reports: “Trump’s turn away from Manafort is in part a reversion to how he ran his campaign in the primary with then-campaign manager Corey Lewandowski. Lewandowski’s mantra was ‘let Trump be Trump’ and Trump wants to get back to that type of campaign culture, the aides said.” Appearing on CNN on Wednesday morning, Lewandowski was thrilled with the changes.

2. The sleaze from Breitbart won't have any better luck than Manafort did

Trump will resist any attempt to have him learn either a bunch of dry facts or any of the canned speeches they want him to spout at a debate. He will insist that he can manage on his own, "they LOVE ME!" and go in unprepared.

I doubt there will be more than one debate unless they manage to drug his food.
