So Trump Encouraging Foreign Espionage and the Assassination of the Democratic Presidential Nominee

... these stories we just stop talking about. We just move on.

Meanwhile, the Republicans have been attacking Hillary on Benghazi for several years, and they continue to keep that story (as well as the emails) front and center. Their commitment never wanes. Their outrage never subsides.

Why can't we be as relentless in going after Trump!

Donald Trump has urged a foreign adversary to commit espionage against America!

Donald Trump has called for the assassination of Hillary Clinton!

We tend to try and focus our message in positive, optimistic ways. But I get what you are saying. Sometimes you get tired of the constant lies and hatred spewing garbage that Trump and his surrogates keep putting out, but I believe that it is because Hillary's campaign has been so positive and upbeat that she is starting to sway many red state conservatives and she has in turn made many states such as Utah, Arizona and Georgia into battleground states.

these stories when they are interviewed on the cable news shows.

Republicans never miss a chance to raise Benghazi or Hillary's emails when they appear on MSNBC and CNN. They are unrelenting. They know how to keep a story alive. The question could be about taxes or unemployment or their favorite food, and the Republicans always manage to slip in BENGHAZI! EMAILS!

Rump and the pugs aren't going to recruit any new converts with the Benghazi thing, since it's been chewed over for so long. The noise being made now about it is limited to the wingnut echo chamber.

By contrast, Rump treats us to a new shipwreck nearly every day.

if you watched the cable news networks last night and this morning, they are all pushing the comeback narrative.

He's had a good week! He gave three solid speeches! He's back on messsage! He has a new campaign team! They're launching TV ads in the battleground states! The race could tighten!

Before the primaries ended. Just because we haven't been able to vote yet does not mean he is not done.

Hell generic republican x was pretty much done before the primaries even started. The demographics are just that bad for them nationally. They have done the opposite of helping improve on that since the primaries started and before. Trump has only worsened the situation for them from the first second he got on stage.

And it's not like the media has not been covering one outrage after another about him. He has not had an easy ride. In fact I would venture to say he has distracted from Hillaries own issues even if they are mostly just republican trolling. We certainly could have had many more hours of email bs if it weren't for Trump saying or doing something stupid every day.

Saying he's given three solid speeches this week, that he's back on message, that the race will probably tighten. Of course they want the race to tighten (it's called ratings). And we need to keep hitting Trump on his dangerous rhetoric, especially the calls for espionage and assassination. If a Democratic candidate had used such language, we'd be hearing about it EVERY day until the election.

It's Ok because rump and gang are suggesting political assassination? "When will we ever learn?" Never forget, nationalist politicians care not about anything except winning the vote. The alternative is claiming "cheating" or calls for civil unrest.

There are so many opportunities to spend precious time helping others. Yet, we are consummed by political distractions.

GOP preps tough perjury case against Clinton

By Julian Hattem
08/19/16

House Republicans are doubling down in their effort to bring perjury charges against Hillary Clinton over her testimony last year to the House Select Committee on Benghazi.

GOP lawmakers have claimed that the Democratic presidential nominee broke the law by lying under oath about her private email setup during her marathon appearance in October.

Next month, Republicans on the House Judiciary Committee plan to make the issue a central part of a hearing with senior officials from the FBI, a committee aide said on Thursday.

Benghazi! Emails! Hearings!

Republicans know how to sustain a narrative. They never relent!

We need that kind of tenacity in this election fight!

Trump called for Foreign Espionage and Assassination! And we have let these stores fade away.
