It seems the flooding there isn't being handled.

I see little/no coverage on this. Can anyone there or in the know let me know what's going on?

Is the President going to go there?

The local media reported today the president isn't going to make a trip to view the flooding.

Say he asked Obama not to come for a few weeks.

The resources needed to provide security for him would take away from the recovery effort.

I'm in Texas and a lot of people here are going to help; my daughter lives in New Orleans and they're ok so far.

Obama isn't going yet, he's on vacation.

But I did read that Trump will be there on Friday.

At least 13 people are dead and 40,000 homes are damaged because of flooding in Louisiana – and the rest of the world isn’t really talking about it.

8. The corporations who run our country don't care about Louisiana.

At best they know New Orleans is a good place to fly into, but most of them just think of most of America as far off places full of people they don't care for.
