How people can not feel great sympathy over this, I just can't understand. I realize, of course, that we can't save them all. But we could do more. We could save some of them. While millions of Syrian refugees have settled in Europe, Jordan, Turkey, Lebanon and Iraq (what a safe haven to emigrate to), Canada has absorbed only 28,000. The United States has accepted a paltry 1,500!

Again, we can't throw the doors open to everyone, but there could be a greater effort. And for anyone who says, "They're not our problem," take a long, hard look in the mirror and question how you've become so hard-hearted.

It's not just Syrian children, it's also those in neighbouring Iraq who felt the wrath of ISIS, those fucking bastards.
