Headline in Arkansas Democrat Gazette reads, "In shift, Trump says sorry for early insults". I heard him say, "I regret it."

Trump doesn't apologize and it is dutifully reported that he did.

(26,268 posts)The closes to "sorry" seems to be him claiming to regret causing some people personal pain. I don't believe he regrets anything. I think his kids are back in charge, and they pushed him to make that statement.
