Bush was criticized as well. I'm sure they will find a way to criticize president Clinton to in 8 years. Not an easy job.

I never made a public statement of disapproval of President Carter. It's always easier to do in retrospect. It is more difficult to judge without the passage of time. In that we can agree, oui? I think the father was a more principled politician than the son. Of course, I am not Barbara Bush.

I don't know if he was just naieve or what. His father was probably a bit better but only won due to reagans popularity.

not to come. It would be too much of a distraction at a time when respondents are trying to help out the best they can. Obama honored to that request....t-rump did not. t-rump wanted the spotlight on him...dumb ass.

Obama playing golf while Trump is visiting Louisiana...is because Trump "pointed" it out, conveniently.

Trump is such a disgusting opportunist. Just like his giving to charity, when you look closer, it's nothing more than a photo opp. He never donates his own money.

Now going from house to house checking for victims and assisting those who stayed and maybe in need of supplies. The last thing they need is to have to give protection to a visiting president.

It used to be a sign of solidarity and simply the right thing to do to be there in person. Now it's considered too much of a distraction or an uneccessary pull on resources.

The people like to see their leaders face to face. Shake their hand. Get reassurance that they're important and not forgotten.
