We all have things to lose. We try to live our lives to minimalize losses that hurt us.

5. The world economy would tank.

People would starve.

The world would be in unimaginable chaos, even before a nuclear war. I could see him causing that war simply to end the mess he had made. No matter how narcissistic he is, the truth would seep through and he would not be able to face himself. He would be in a bunker somewhere, like Hitler. Maybe he would kill himself, maybe not.

Everything. I would lose everything, and so would everyone else.
